An error occured: File doesn't contain BasicFileInfo stream data not saved

This error occurs when adding content to the Work in Progress area that is either pre Revit 2008 or corrupt. It means that the OLE data inside the Revit file is not present or it cant be retrieved. The OLE data contains information such as Revit Product, Revit Version etc...

Whilst Content Studio does support legacy data from older versions of Revit, this only spans back to 2008.  Consider upgrading old content to a more recent version of Revit before importing.  Loading extremely old content into recent versions of Revit can sometimes cause the application to crash or data lost.  We would recommend this as a matter of course on all library items as best practice.
